Born in rural Guysborough, Nova Scotia Daniel Connolly is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer and mostly known as one the leading figures of the Americana band Horsebath. He’s been travelling light for the last 15 years oscillating between Montreal, Amsterdam and Halifax taking on recording and film projects as he goes. His tendency to roam shapes his need for storytelling and putting pen to paper. Vulnerable, heartwarming and melancholic verse pairs with a rumbling folk pace, tumbling through his emotions in order to keep on moving.
Beside being frontman of Horsebath he also tours with his own band and they will be playing our Rozenknop this sunday.
